The Planning Institute of Australia (PIA SA) and the Australian Institute of Urban Studies (AIUS SA) are pleased to be hosting a joint webinar on Thursday 11 August on the draft Local Design Review Scheme for South Australia. The draft Scheme is on public consultation until Friday 21 August 2020.

If you want to learn more about what Local Design Review will mean for all sectors within the planning and development sector, including local government and consultants, come along to this webinar to learn more and ask questions.

The draft Scheme forms part of the State’s planning reform and sets out the consistent procedural requirements for councils who wish to provide Local Design Review within their communities, as well as independent Design Review providers.

Speakers

Brad McCormack is the Senior Planning and Design Officer at ODASA and leads a team committed to supporting high-quality design, collaborative planning and genuine engagement. He is a passionate and creatively motivated planner with broad public and private sector experience.

Sonya Carthy is the Senior Program Officer, Design Review at ODASA. Sonya was part of the team that established Design Review in South Australia in 2011 and continues to play a leading role in the strategic and operational future of the program.
